BOOKLETS AND FAKED PHOTOGRAPHS GOEBBELS ON GERMAN AIMS. “WE WANT TO BE A WORLD PEOPLE.” 3y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) PARIS, November 27. The latest German pamphlets disseminated by air over France consist of red booklets containing optimistic and frequently faked photographs, cartoons. diagrams and garbled quotations from French and British sources. A packet of about 5,000 booklets is packedl in a cardboard box, fitted with a detonator, exploding on leaving an aeroplane and ensuring a wide dispersion.
Berlin messages state that Dr Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, addressing the annual session of the Culture Chamber, declared: "We are a people now. We want to be a world people. Soldiers, workers and artists meet here in a common faith in our great national future. Artists must cheer up the public, because no war can be won without optimism. Regarding propaganda, Germany stands equipped for a mental fight with the height of- technical perfection." Dr Ley said Germany would win the war because the Fuhrer was stronger and greater than any leader in history.
