U.S. OCTOBER LICENCES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright WASHINGTON. November 25. Arms exports licences for October were double the normal number, despite the embargo ruling out belligerents. Licences were granted as follows: — Finland. 848.000 dollars: Sweden. L--018,000 dollars, mostly aeroplanes; Turkey. 2,210.000 dollars, aeroplanes, ma-chine-guns. mines and grenades: Netherlands. 150.000 dollars, commercial aeroplane parts: Netherlands Indies. 409.000 dollars, military and commercial aeroplanes: China. 3.832.000 dollars, aeroplanes, howitzers and ammunition.
