GAMES IN VARIOUS CENTRES. Wellington.—The senior games in Wellington on Saturday resulted as follows:—lnstitute 292 (Ormiston 60, A. Lang 57) v University. Wellington 138 v Kilbirnie 6 for 175. Hutt 178 v Old Boys 3 for 84. Karori 214 (Coupland 61) v Midland 100 for 3. Christchurch.—The fourth round of the Canterbury Cricket Association's competitions was begun on Saturday in unpleasant conditions. Scores: West Christchurch 139 (Donnelly 61) met Lancaster Park 127 (Cromb 54). Old Collegians 162 (Walter 52) met St Albans 61 for one. Riccarton 192 (Rose 51) met East Christchurch 38 for four. Sydenham 156 (Oliver 67) met Old Bovs 9 for no wickets. Dunedin.—A'high, strong wind, with showers late in the afternoon, made conditions unpleasant for cricket on Saturday. All four matches were won on the first innings. Carisbrook A 130 for four (Fraser not out 51) beat Albion 127 by six wickets. Carisbrook B 277 for four (McMullan not out 104, Cameron 59, Carter 53) beat Old Boys 136. Kaikorai 139 for eight. beat Grange 96. University 125 beat Dunedin 85 and none for 10.
