EIGHT GERMAN PLANES BROUGHT DOWN. FRENCH OFFICIAL REPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.17 a.m.) RUGBY, November 24. A French official communique states: “There was nothing of importance to report during the night. Yesterday eight German reconnaissance planes were brought down on French territory, four of them by the Royal Air Force, and four by the French Air Force. One of our fighters has not returned to its base.”
