KENNEL CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Kennel Club, held last meeting. Mr P. Gilchrist was elected to fill a vacancy in the committee. Arrangements were made for holding the annual meeting, which has been unavoidably delayed. It was decided, in view of the prevailing epidemic of distemper, not in the meantime to hold a ribbon parade as had been intended. It was decided to recommend the New Zealand Kennel Club to include Mr S. D. Geary in its list of judges of all sporting breeds. Judges for the approaching show, to be held in February, were nominated, subject to the approval of the Masterton A. and P. Association and the New Zealand Kennel Club.
