ANOTHER RAIDER?
ESCAPE OF THE WINDHUK FROM PORTUGUESE WEST AFRICA. REPORTED TO CARRY FULL ARMAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.55 a.m.) LONDON. November 20. The British United Press Cape Town correspondent says the Windhuk is reported to have been disguised as British, carrying a full armament with her speed increased beyond peace time requirements. The crew were picked from crews of German vessels taking refuge at Lobito. The Adolf Woermann, it is believed, was used as a decoy to enable tlie Windhul: to get away. '1 wo German liners, the Windhuk (16.662 tons) and'the Adolf Woermann (8577 tons) left the port of Lobito Bay. Portuguese West Africa, where they have taken refuge since the outbreak of the war. under cover of darkness recently a radio message stated on November 19.
