Church Street, Masterton. Miss Bevan, of Wellington, is a visitor to Masterion and is staying at the Midland'Hotel. Mrs V. G. Wimsett of Eketahuna had as her guest over the weekend Mrs Dysart, of Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs Edwards, Wellington, are guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Mastertoll. Miss Hazel Bergh, of Featherston, has joined the nursing staff of the South Wairarapa Hospital, Greytown. Miss Mac Kay is a Wellington visitor to Masterton, where she is staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Miss Gilda Bezar, Cashmere Hills, is spending a few days in the Wairarapa as the guest of her aunt, Mrs C. M. Wilkinson. Hinaburn, Featherston. A well-known educationist. Miss C. M. Cruickshank, M.A.. M.Sc., died in Christchurch recently. For 21 years she was principal of the Wanganui Girls’ College, and after her retirement in January, 1932. lived in Christchurch. She was born in Palmerston South in 1873, and was educated at the Shag Valley School, the Palmerston South District High School, and later the Otago Girls' High School. She entered the Otago University, but after some time went to the Auckland University College, where she took the degrees of M.A. and M.Sc.
