BUDGET ESTIMATES PRESENTED TO COMMITTEE. FAMILY & REFUGEE ALLOWANCES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1,20 p.m.) PARIS. November 17. M. P. Reynaud. Minister of Finance, presenting the 1940 Budget estimates to the Finance Committee, estimated that the expenditure would be £438,000,090 sterling. The revenue would be slightly higher, despite new items of expenditure, including eighty-two millions for allowances to the families of those on service and fourteen millions on refugees Expenditure on the armed forces, however, was not included but M. Rovnaud was confident that the budgetary position was sound.
