GERMAN STEAMER
DISGUISED AS RUSSIAN. CAPTURED BY BRITISH CRUISER. By Te'egraoh—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON. November 16. A British cruiser seized the German steamer Leander off the West Coast. The Leander was masquerading as a Russian, with the letters U.S.S.R. painted on her side, and flew tho z Soviet flag. The crew were unable to get food and -decided to make a dash for Germany.
