WAIRARAPA COLLEGE
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION MEETING. CARNIVAL DATE CHANGED. The monthly committee meeting of the Wairarapa College Parents’ Association was held this week, Mr A. Owen Jones presiding over a good attendance of members. It was decided to grant £6O towards the cost of providing water on the playing areas, and quotations are being obtained for an electric pump. The forthcoming carnival was discussed at length, and a sub-committee was set up to make preliminary arrangements. Owing to the date fixed for the carnival clashing with other local activities it was decided to alter the date from March 2 to February 24.
