FIRE DISASTER
VENEZUELAN OIL PORT DESTROYED EIGHT HUNDRED PERSONS KILLED. THOUSANDS INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh' (Received This Day. 1.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 14. The Associated Press of America’s Caracas (Venezuela) correspondent reports that the important oil port of Langunillas, on Lake Maracibo, was destroyed by fire. Eight hundred persons are dead. Of the injured, two thousand are oil workers whose huts were destroyed by flames sweeping the oily waters of the lake where the town is built.
