DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Druids' Lodge was held in the Foresters' Hall on Monday evening, the A.D. Bro N. F. Keightley presiding. The secretary reported that 12 members had declared on the sick benefit of the lodge and favourable reports were received on same. A report was received on the business transacted at a recent meeting of the U.F.S. Dispensary Board. One clearance was received on behalf of a brother from Ruataniwha Lodge. The Christmas Tree committee reported that further progress had been made in connection with the annual Christmas Tree function and brethren were urged to complete their forms and return same as early as possible. The A.D. extended a welcome to Past Secretary Bro H. Nicholson, an old member of the lodge. Bro Nicholson. in replying, conveyed greetings from Darlinghurst. Lodge. Australia. Bro H. Torrey. A.D. of Totara Lodge, paid a visit and was received with lodge honours. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £154 16s lOd were passed.

Next lodge night is Quarter Night, and the lodge will be tyled at 7.30 p.m.
