HON. A. HAMILTON
ADDRESS IN CARTERTON LAST EVENING.
There was a crowded house at the King's Theatre, Carterton, last evening to listen to an address delivered by the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition. Fully 400 people were present from all parts of the electorate, and the meeting was most enthusiastic throughout. Mr Les. Fairbrother, chairman of the Wairarapa branch of the National Party, presided and extended a very warm welcome to Mr Hamilton. The latter, who was in excellent form, put forward the claims of the National Party in a- forcible manner. He was frequently applauded throughout his address. On concluding, Mr Hamilton was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks, carried by acclamation.
