WOMEN’S DIVISION
MEETING AT RANGITUMAU. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Rangitumau branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union was held in the hall recently' when. Mrs D. James presided over a fair attendance of members. The time was spent in social intercourse and the usual competitions. The results of the competitions were: — Sponge cake: Mrs Macdonald, 1; Mrs K. Wilton. 2. Bowl of flowers: Mrs Macdonald. 1; Mrs Duckett and Miss J. McLachlan (equal). 2. Three blooms: Mrs Duckett, 1; Mrs Wrigley, 2. One bloom: Mrs Duckett, 1; Miss I. Harvey, o
The December competitions will be: Christmas novelty, vegetable salad fruit cake, shoulder spray.
