WEDDINGS
HUBBARD—LOADER. The marriage of Nancy Warner, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs E. J. Loader, Taueru. and Archie.'younger son of Mr and Mrs A. T. P. Hubbard. Masterton. was quietly solemnised at St Matthew's Church, Masterton. on Saturday, November 4. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a charming gown of magnolia satin, with embroidered veil to match. She carried a beautiful bouquet of arum lilies. The bride’s sister, Mrs R. O’Hara, of Waipukurau, and her cousin, Miss McLachlan, of Rangitumau, acted as bridesmaids, wearing dainty frocks of pale pink and white organdie. They wore tiny pink net veils, finished with topknots of pink flowers on their hair. They also carried bouquets of pink flowers. Mr Keith Cameron was best man and Mr B. Donald, Pahiatua, was groomsman. The reception was held in the Cosy Tea Rooms-, where Mrs Loader, wearing a floral frock with navy coat and hat, received the guests. Mr and Mrs Hubbard later left for a motor tour of the north, the bride wearing a frock of jade green with tobacco brown coat and accessories.
