DE FRIEND’S WAIOHIKI STAKES A WIN FOR OKAWA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER. November 11. ' Perfect weather favoured the Napier Park Racing Club for its second spring meeting today. The attendance was satisfactory, but the totalisator return showed a drop of £ 14. The open events were won by De Friend and Okawa, and Royal Consort again easily accounted for the two-year-olds. An inquiry was held into alleged interference by Royal Spades with Serenata in the Taradale Handicap. It was found to be accidental and no further action was taken. Lady Stella's interference with Fossicker three furlongs from home in the Omahu Hurdles was found to be due to both horses tiring and Lady Stella rolling over on on Fossicker. No further action was taken.
