BRITISH GIFT TO FRANCE. 1 (British Official Wireless.) I RUGBY. November 11. J The King has accepted the office of; joint patron-in-chief with the Presi-j dent of the French Republic of the j Anglo-French ambulance corps. The patrons include practically every mem- , ber of Cabinet. The idea is to organise a fleet of i ambulances which will be donated to the French Government. The plan is to equip 100 ambulances and recruit their personnel from British subjects in France.
