BUILDING SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. ("Times-Age” Special.) At the annual meeting of the Eketahuna Terminating Building Society Messrs J. S. Tripe. R. Dickson. R. Farrow, H. E. Greathead and D. D. Ryan were re-elected directors. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr J. S. Tripe was re-elected chairman. There were no tenders for an appropriation of £3OO by sale and the ballot for this amount was won by Mr W. L. Eagle. SENIOR CRICKET WIN FOR EKETAHUNA. The Eketahuna senior team defeated the Pahiatua District High School by an innings and six runs. Scores: — Eketahuna. 118 (Higginson 28, Robinson 27, Leith 26. Payne 21; Swainson 2 for 25. Mcßae 3 for 27; Carthcw 4 for 16, Beales 1 for 10). Pahiatua High School, Ist innings, 49 (Swainson 18. Siddells 11. Mcßae 13; Payne 2 for 10. Tredray 2 for 14. Francois 2 for 8. Robinson 4 for 17). Second innings, 63 (Siddells 19. Beales 10; Robinson 5 for 18. Tredray 4 for 25, Payne 1 for 10). Mangamaire beat Pahiatua Fire Brigade by 14 runs. Pahiatua had a bye. School Cricket Team. A meeting of the Bush Cricket Association at Pahiatua. Mr D. R. Salter, a master of the Pahiatua District High School, attended in connection with a proposal for a school team to be included in the competition. During the discussion it was mentioned that players from Ihe Eketahuna school could be included in the team. After considerable discussion it was unanimously decided to admit the High School team into the competition.
