SATURDAY’S GAMES A CENTURY TO W. WHITEMAN. WINS FOR RED STAR AND LANSDOWNE. The second series of senior matches concluded on Saturday was noticeable for the first senior century of the season, this honour going to W. Whiteman in a well played unbeaten innings. The Red Star and Lansdowne teams each obtained 8 point wins. Frank Hoar bowling against Wairarapa College secured 8 wickets for 19 runs, but he did not bowl in the second innings. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP RED STAR v. WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. The Red Star and Wairarapa College teams completed their game on the College ground when Red Star won by an innings.
