Their Majesties held a dinner party to Dominion delegates, the first since the outbreak of war. The twenty-eight guests included Mr and Mrs Chamberlain. Mr and Mrs Eden, the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, the Duchess of Gloucester, and the Dominion delegates and their wives. His Majesty informally conversed with the Empire visitors after dinner.
