ATTACKED BY JAPANESE MACHINE FORCED TO LAND. ON JOURNEY FROM HONG KONG TO INDO-CHINA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Dav. 9.40 a.m.) HONG KONG. November 8. According to French reports, Japanese gunfire forced the Imperial Airways Dardanus, piloted by an Australian, Mr Wilson, to land. The Japanese have occupied the island of Waicliow, off South China. The airliner was en route to French Indo-China from Hong Kong.
