PRE-WEDDING PARTY

MISS M. EVERY HONOURED. (“Times-Age” Special.) A pleasant evening was tendered to Miss Marion Every, whose marriage with Mr Brown, of Carterton, towards the end of the present month will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Church, Carterton. The gathering was organised by a number of girl friends at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. Ingley, Miss Ingley being the hostess, and took the form of a “parcel evening.” Games and competitions were held and a dainty supper partaken of. Miss Every thanked everyone for the the honour accorded her, and for the beautiful presents. She specially thanked the hostess and her parents for the use of their residence for the gathering.
