Gunner Gordon McKay, who is on sick leave is staying with his parents. Mr and Mrs Mac Kay, Pahautea. Mrs H. Walden (Huntly) and Mrs W. Edwards (Kaitieke) who have been visiting Mrs Juno, have returned home.

Guy Fawkes. Bon fires and fireworks were greatly in evidence on Saturday night, the weather conditions being perfect. No accidents are reported and the children thoroughly enjoyed the old time custom of burning “guy.”
