Danger to Museum Exhibits.

Because of the possibility of air raids on the Dominion, the authorities of the Auckland Museum are preparing a plan for the removal of the more important exhibits should an emergency occur. A place in Cambridge for the storage of such exhibits is under consideration. Scheme to Help Homes. “A farmer in the Flemington district, Mr J. M. Johnston, offered to buy reliable yearlings for us. and to get his friends to graze them until they could be sold at a good profit,” says the annual report of the Christchurch Presbyterian Social Service Association. “Fourteen yearlings were placed withgood farmers. This scheme could be followed in other places."
