CHURCH SERVICES

The Rev. R. S. Keenan will conduct the service at Knox Church tomorrow, and also in the afternoon at Matahiwi. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. Mrs Mahaffie will be the speaker in the morning, when she will take for her subject, "Leaving The World’s Camp." In the evening service Major Mahaffie wiill take for his subject "The Midnight Summons." All are heartily invited to the Army’s bright, happy services. The speaker at both Church of Christ services tomorrow will be Mr E. Light, of Wellington. At St. Matthew's Church tomorrow the Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and at 11 a.m. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will be the preacher in the morning. At 7 p.m. a memorial service will be held for SquadronLeader Lamb, when the Rev. E. J. Rich will be the preacher. The vicar will conduct the service at Taueru in the afternoon. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m.. and Mr V. W. Joblin at Upper Plain at 7 p.m.

During November the Masterton Baptist Fellowship Sunday services will be conducted by Mr A. E. Lonsdale at 7 p.m. The meetings will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall as usual and any friends interested are cordially invited to be present. One of the great festival days of the Church Calendar will be celebrated in the Methodist Church on Sunday, the occasion being the Sunday School An•iversary. The services at 11 a.m., 2.45 p.m. and 7 p.m. will all be of a spectacular and interesting character. The children of the Sunday School, several hundreds strong, have been specially trained by Miss Ivie Donald, and will present duets, trios, quartettes and choruses. The afternoon service will feature the "tiny tots" in various presentations. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Frederick J. Parker, who will give arresting "Object Talks" at the morning and evening services on "Light" and "Wind” rcspec? tively. The anniversary demonstration will be held on Monday evening at 7.30 o'clock. A service will be conducted at Kuripuni at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. E. Steel’. There will be no service ai Wangaehu.
