ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH CALEDONIAN FAIR. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Caledonian Fair held in the Bandroom, Carterton, yesterday, in aid of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church was a marked success from all points of view, and the ladies who were in charge of the fair must feel very proud indeed of the result of their efforts. The stalls, which included produce, fancy goods, cakes, confectionary, were well patronised throughout the day. The luncheon and tea rooms did splendid business and altogether the fair was a great success. Over £94 was .taken which will go toward the church funds.
In the evening the Bible Class held a successful gathering and games of all classes tempted old and young alike to try their skill. The proceeds which amounted, approximately, to £lO will go towards the fund to provide additions to the Presbyterian Hall to make more room for the Bible Class requirements. The games created a good deal of excitement.
