CARS COLLIDE
POWNALL-RENALL STREET CROSSING. PASSENGER SUFFERS INJURIES. A collision occurred at the intersection of Pownall and Renall streets at 10.35 o’clock this morning between two cars. A car driven by Mr R. K. McLean, insurance agent, was proceeding southward along Pownall Street and another car, driven by Mr T. E. Papps, of Upper Plain, was coming down Renall Street to town when a collision occurred. Mr Frank Papps, a passenger in Mr Papp's car and a brother of the driver, received cuts to his face, head and shoulder and was taken to the Masterton Hospital by Mr McLean. After receiving attention at the hospital Mr Papps was able to proceed to his home. Not much damage was done to Mr McLean’s car but the rear portion of the other vehicle suffered somewhat.
