DRAMA LEAGUE
TWO RESIGNATIONS ACCEPTED. APPRECIATION OF SERVICES RECORDED. At the meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Drama League, over which Miss O. R. Sutherland presided, the resignations of Miss Patricia Jordan, secretary, and of Miss Betty Coleman, a member of the committee, were accepted with regret. Miss Jordan has been appointed one of the two receptionists at the Wellington Provincial section of the Dominion Court at the Centennial Exhibition, and Miss Coleman is leaving Masterton. Members expressed tjieir regret at the resignations, and decided to record on the minutes appreciation of their services during their terms of office. Mr John Lawson was appointed secretary in place of Miss Jordan and Miss Jean Douglas was appointed to the vacancy on the committee. Mention was made of the Centennial Drama competition, and it was decided to await further information.
