DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING.

The fortnightly meeting of the Druids’ Lodge was held in the Foresters’ Hall last evening, the A.D. Bro. N. Keightley. presiding. A motion of sympathy to Bro. Harrington in the loss of his wife was passed, members standing in silence. The secretary reported that eleven brethren had declared on the sick benefit of the lodge and progress reports were received on their condition. A committee was set up to make arrangements in connection with the annual Christmas Tree function.

The lodge appointed P.D.P. Bro. F. B. Pickering as a lodge trustee in seccession to the late Bro. D. A. Pickering. ;yhc was senior trustee for many years. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £26 6s fid were passed.
