AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE

BRITISH PURCHASE PLAN. EXPORTERS WELL SATISFIED WITH PRICES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, October 30. Exporters are well satisfied with the prices being paid by Britain for the Australian surplus meat and dairy products. It is estimated that butter and cheese exporters will receive £1,250,000 more than last season if production is maintained, and every effort will be made to increase it in view of the possible curtailment of supplies to Britain from foreign countries. It is expected that the price for cheese will be approximately 72s cwt, f.0.b., Australian currency.
