CONTENTION IN INDIA
MADRAS MINHSTRY RESIGNS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) MADRAS, October 27. The Congress Ministry in Madras has resigned. The Governor has intimated that he is not accepting the resignation until he has arranged to carry on the government. The Bombay Legislative Assembly passed a resolution by 92 votes to 56 disapproving the Viceroy’s statement.
