Lord Camrose, who has been assisting the Minister of Information pointed out that the Ministry was originally constructed from a staff nominated at the instance of the Lord Privy Seal, Sir Samuel Hoare. He added: “I am tired of jibes at the Ministry. The critics are either afraid to attack people who constructed it, or are ignorant of what department organised it.”
