GOVERNOR OF KENYA
SIR H. MOORE APPOINTED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.13 a.m.) RUGBY. October 27. Sir Henry Moore has been appointed Governor and Commander-in-Chief in Kenya; in succession to Air Chief Marshal Sir R. Brooke-Popham, who recently relinquished the Governorship in order to take up duty with the Royal Air Force. Sir Alan Burns, Governor of British Honduras, succeeds Sir Henry Moore as Assistant Under-Secretary at the Colonial Office.
