TEACHER FAREWELLED

WAHtAIIAPA COLLEGE GATHERING. Mr F. Roger.':., who for the past five months has been acting as relieving art teacher al. Waiiarapa College and is returning to Auckland was farewelled by the staff yesterday at afternoon tea. The Principal, Mr G. G. Hancox, spoke in appreciative terms of the work which Mr Rogers had done, and Mr G. W. Morice, on behalf of the staff, presented to the departing teacher a book as a token of goodwill. Mr S. B. MacLennan, who arrived in Auckland yesterday from England, will commence duty as art master at the College on Monday. Mr MacLennan is accompanied by Mrs. MacLennan. ____________
