“Warboding” is a new portmanteau word coined to describe the period of warlike tension. Other portmanteau words of a lighter nature recently invented in the United States include: — “Reminuisances”: Long-winded reminiscences. “Sinema”: A naughty film. “Roosevelvef: The charming Roosevelt manner. “Representathieves”: Corrupt politicians.
