SHOWMAN FINED

SEQUEL TO DISTURBANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) Arising out of a disturbance at the Carterton Night Show last night, in which it is alleged two men and a woman were involved, a showman, Frederick John Smith, appeared before Messrs Gordon Hughan and W, M. Sorenson, J’s. P.. in the Carterton Magistrate's Court this morning. Smith, who was charged with being drunk and disorderly at the Showgrounds. pleaded guilty. The police case was conducted by Constable W. C. Robertson. Smith was fined £3 and costs.
