The reported discoverer in New York of a plot to sahot- “ age the liners Queen Mary and Normandie within a few days caused all local highranking police officials hurj riedly to board the vessels. The guards have been doubled and sightseers barred from s the piers. 3 , The Cunard-White Star Company 3 said that information regarding the t plot was in the possession of the United States Naval Intelligence Department.
