MASTERTON Y.M.C.A.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS. MONTHLY MEETING. There was an attendance of 10 at the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Y.M.C.A., Mr W. A. Clarke ( president) being in the chair. The General Secretary’s report for September indicated that there had been more than usual activity in and about the Association’s building during the month, a number of interesting events having taken place, in addition to the maintenance of the usual routine programme. Accounts amounting to £l4 6s 3d were passed for payment. Considerable time was taken up in a discussion on details concerning the annual gymnastic and physical culture display, to be held in the Opera House, on Wednesday. November 8. Great enthusiasm is being shown in the preparations, which are already well in hand, and the usual high standard of entertainment is anticipated. It was decided to place tickets for the display on sale immediately.
