Farmers and fishermen in North Jutland report a naval battle between unidentified warships off the. coast. Farmers, watching from hillsides at Hirtshals in North Jutland, say they saw a naval vessel, either a submarine or a torpedo boat, intercept a steamer. Two large vessels appeared and fired on the smaller vessel for 15 minutes, tite steamer escaping, followed by the interception vessels. The warships later disappeared northward. Fishermen corroborate the story.
