DAYLIGHT SAVING
REJECTED IN AUSTRALIA. FOLLOWING ON EXPERIENCE IN LAST WAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Cabinet has decided not to introduce daylight saving in Australia. Ministers were influenced in their decision by the experience of the last war, when, after a brief experience of the system, it was unanimously rejected by Cabinet with the support of the general public.
