LAMB COMPETITION

WAIRARAPA DISTRICT DISPLAY. AT WAINGAWA NEXT MONTH. District farmers are taking much interest in ihe New Zealand Meat Boards iamb competition, which is to be held at Waingawa on November 7. The lambs will be judged in the pens and on the hooks, but on account oi war conditions they will not be sent to London. Prizes totalling £l2 are being offered. All interested are invited to attend at Waingawa on November 7. Judginj commences at 10 a.m. Entries may be made with Messrs R H. Williams (Masterton) or L. H. Smart (Carterton).
