SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR. POSTPONED IF WAR CONTINUES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The South African Rugby Board advised the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union last night by cablegram that it agreed to the postponement of the All Black tour of South Africa next year if the war is still in progress on January 1. On behalf of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Lee Martin, wrote expressing the Government's thanks for the assurance of loyalty and of the united co-operation of Rugby players throughout the Dominion in any action that the Government may consider necessary during the present crisis. The letter was in reply to a resolution passed at a recent meeting of the council of the New Zealand union.
