MASTERTON CHESS CLUB

SEASON’S ACTIVITIES. DRAWING TO A CLOSE. The season of the Masterton Chess Club is drawing to a close, and next Monday’s meeting at the Y.M.C.A. will be the last of the weekly gatherings for this year. Arrangements are in hand for a social evening and sides match to be held on October 28, when the season will be officially closed. As players are expected to be present from Wellington and South Wairarapa, a strong attendance of local players is required to play the visitors.
