Britain has purchased 170.000 tons of Argentine beef and 30.000 tons of mutton. SUPPLIES FROM URUGAY. (Received This Dav. 10.55.a.m.) MONTE VIDEO October 18. The Commerce Ministry has announced that an agreement for British purchase of 8000 tons of Uruguayan beef and 5000 tons of mutton will be concluded todav.
