QUEENSLAND SUGAR
UNITED KINGDOM PURCHASE
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. BRISBANE. October 17. The Queensland Premier. Mr Forgan Smith, told Parliament today that Britain, which had hitherto purchased 290.000 tons of Queensland sugar, had agreed to purchase the remaining surplus of 9000 tons.
