UNLUCKY DAV FOR U=BOATS DESTRUCTION OF TWO REPORTED — | FOUR GERMAN PLANES LOST AND TWO INTERNED. IN NORTH SEA NAVAL ACTION. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY. October 13. The Admiralty announce that Friday. October 13, proved an unlucky day for U-Boats, two having been destroyed. The hunting craft were able to rescue some of the survivors. It is announced that the steamer Heron’s Pool had been attacked by a U-Boat. The crew is reported "all safe” on an American ship. The Heron’s Pool, which is of 5202 tons gross, is the second ship to be sunfc this week. The Admiralty announces that the German information service now has admitted that, after an attack on British naval forces in the North Sea on Monday, four of their planes fell into the sea, and two made forced landings in Danish territory. The captured Cap Norte was found to have repainted herself and substituted Anconia for her name and painted a Swedish flag on her side. Bad weather made her short of fuel. According to her stowage- plan the quantity loaded on board ws 5641 tons. Her principal cargo included about 2893 tons of wheat. 178 tons of wool, 747 tons of skins. 60 tons of tobacco, 175 tons of cocoa, 18 tons of honey, 1102 tons of coffee. 440 casks of horse flesh, three boxes of caviare and 500 boxes of lemons. ANOTHER SUBMARINE SUNK [ A Daventry report states that a third German submarine was sunk yesterday by the British Navy, a few survivors being rescued.
