The “New York Times” correspondent. Mr Gedye, in a message from Moscow, says that while the British are still confident that the Turks will remain loyal to their understanding with Britain and France and are satisfied with their contacts with M. Saracoglu (Turkish Foreign Minister) here, the French' seem perturbed. Particularly they are surprised at M. Saracoglu’s demonstrative placing of a wreath on the tomb of Lenin. .It is the first instance of such a tribute by a foreign statesman.
