WORKMEN'S FRIEND NO 2. The monthly meeting of the directors of the Workmen's Friend No 2 was held on Wednesday night. Mr Win Kemp (vice-chairman) presided, and also present were Messrs T. B. Braggins. E. J. Brown. C. W. Walker. E. H. Morton, and A. E. Hubbard. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs F. J. Hunn, A. V. Dixon and W. H. Jackson. The finance report was submitted and received and correspondence considered. The transfer of four shares from Mr J. A. Brown to Mr D. R. Hunt was approved. Mr Rushton advised his acceptance of the appropriation of £4OO allocated at the last meeting.
