Active support for the work of the Red Cross Society is being given by members of the Yugoslav community in Auckland. Instead of holding its annual dinner this year, the Yugoslav Club has decided to apportion to the society the funds that would normally be expended on the function, and the club is also forming a social committee which is to arrange for further contributions. The president of the club, Mr S. Sumich. said that Auckland Yugoslavs enjoyed io the full the benefits of British justice and democracy, and they felt they should assist the Dominion in every way in a time of crisis. He added that several members of the club were already serving with various military units.
