TABLE TENNIS
WINTER SPORTS CLUB. CLOSING OF SEASON. Assisted by members of other Table Tennis Clubs the closing night for the Winter Sports Club was an outstanding success. On the completion of the doubles match, won by Messrs K. Brader and P. Greenlees, the president (Mr J. Haywood), when presenting cups to Mr lan Coleman and Mrs J Nicholls, men's and ladies' singles champions, respectively, congratulated them on their consistent good play. Trophies were presented also tr Messrs Winslade and Coleman (men’s doubles) and Mesdames Winslade and Nicholls (ladies’ doubles). The cup for the combined doubles was presented t<Miss N. Brown and I. Coleman and handicap cups to Mrs B. Hurley and I Coleman.
The latter part of the evening was devoted to dancing and terminated with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
